Our Warranty Promise
Every deck project we complete comes with a 2-year workmanship warranty. If something goes wrong with work we performed, we come back and make it right - no fine print, no hassle.
What's Covered
Structural Repair Workmanship
Board replacements, joist sistering, post repairs, stair rebuilds, and railing fixes we install are warranted for the full 2-year period. If any of our work fails structurally, we fix it at no cost.
Staining Adhesion
If stain we applied peels, flakes, or fails to adhere within the warranty period due to our preparation or application, we re-stain the affected area at no charge. Normal UV fading is not a defect.
Fastener Integrity
Screws, bolts, joist hangers, and post-to-beam hardware we install are covered. If a fastener we set works loose, backs out, or corrodes prematurely due to our material choice, we replace it at no charge.
What's Not Covered
We want to be upfront about what falls outside our warranty so there are no surprises.

Natural weathering and UV fading
All outdoor wood weathers over time. Pressure-treated lumber will gray, and stain will gradually lighten with UV exposure. This is normal and not a defect in our workmanship.

Acts of nature - storms, fallen trees, flooding
Damage caused by severe weather, fallen trees, flooding, or other natural events after we complete the job is not a warranty issue. We are happy to repair storm damage at our standard rates.

Modifications by others after our work
If another contractor or homeowner modifies the deck structure, fasteners, or finish after our installation in a way that causes failure, that is outside our warranty.

Pre-existing conditions noted at time of inspection
If we note existing rot, settling, or structural issues during our inspection that are outside the scope of the agreed repair, we document them and let you know. Those pre-existing conditions are not covered by our warranty.

We Verify and Schedule
We look up your job, verify the warranty period, and schedule an on-site inspection at a time that works for you.
We Fix It at No Cost
If the issue is covered, we schedule the repair and complete it at no charge. Same quality, same warranty on the corrected work.
